Shining Castle Original Painting
This fun 24x24 inch painting is an ode to Castle Mountain. I drove past it the other day and was reminded of how imposing and prolific this mountain is. I suppose that's why it was aptly named Castle Mountain.
Years ago I hiked up to Rockbound lake, which is tucked up behind the walls of this castle. I remember it being a manageable hike, despite spending the previous night hardly sleeping in a tent without an air mattress, next to a busy outhouse. I was 15 years younger and apparently less dependent on a cushy mattress and >8 hours of sleep. 😂 I'm still not entirely sure how I pulled that off.
